to Plate

Veggies, veggies, veggies! 

This week the Grade 3/4s made a few different dishes in our kitchen. We made some fritters today which was something new for many students. We put silverbeet, parsley and fetta in them with a touch of fresh mint and parsley! 

We also made salad with celery, green apple and carrot with a honey and dijon mustard dressing. 

I was so proud of all the students trying these new dishes. They weren't our favourite dishes so far but many of students liked them. 

 

The grade 1/2s made some blueberry and white chocolate scones. We also discussed what they could put in instead of blueberries. 

We also picked out all the silverbeet in garden and tidied up the broadbetoo. 

What a busy day we had today!
