College Notices

Calling all parents who are able to help out at the Year 7 Orientation Day on 20 November! We need a few volunteers to cook sausages for the Sausage Sizzle at 5pm. If you are able to help, please contact Mrs Judy Schwarz at judy.schwarz@cewa.edu.au. 

The St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal is underway, with each Learning Space and PCG raising money to buy a gift for a child who is less fortunate at Christmas.

To achieve this, we would like to ask our wonderful Salvado families for a gold coin donation over weeks 6 and 7. Each class is aiming raise a goal amount of $30 to purchase their gift. We will present these gifts to representatives from St Vincent de Paul at the Thanksgiving Mass in Week 9. 

Thank you in advance to everyone for your gold coin contributions and helping to spread the love to those in need this Christmas.

In Week 6 of Term 4, we will be celebrating Languages Week!

Languages Week is designed to raise awareness of the benefits of language learning, highlight the linguistic diversity in our community and celebrate the work of our students and teachers in their language learning endeavours.

During Languages Week, the students will engage in a variety of activities to celebrate the Italian language that they are studying at the College as well as the linguistic diversity of our school community.

End-of-Year Reports, for Pre-Primary to Year 9 students, will be accessible at the end of term by logging in to SEQTA Engage. 

As per the SEQTA Engage information sent at the start of the year, all parents/carers are asked to download the free SEQTA Engage app onto their phones. Alternatively, it can be accessed by the website link – https://salvado.engage.cewa.edu.au/  

For parents/carers who have not previously created an account or are new to the College, an auto-generated email will be sent to you on Wednesday 8 November, (to the email address that is in our system). This link will expire in one week. Please ensure you click on this link and set up your account. Please check your junk/spam mailbox also. We request that parents/carers check that they are able to access this system now (and prior to the end of term) so that you can access your child/ren’s report/s over the holidays.

Parents/Carers are also reminded to download and save all of your child/ren’s reports from SEQTA Engage to your own devices.

The Kindergarten and Year 7 2024 Orientation Days will be held on Monday 20 November. Information about Orientation has been emailed to all enrolled families. We look forward to meeting you on the day!

On Wednesday 22 November, recitals will be held for students who participate in guitar and drum lessons.  

On Monday 27th November, recitals will be held for students who participate in piano lessons. 

These will be held in the Covered Assembly Space from 3:15pm to 4:00pm.

Please note that there should be no playing allowed on Play Equipment before and after school, as there are no staff to supervise children during these times. 

Kindly note not to ride bicycles on College grounds for the safety of our students and the College Community.
