Prayer

Loving God,

Protect us and our community as summer approaches.

Keep us free from fearfulness, anxiety and harm.

During this past week, there have been many fires around us. 

Guard those whose families and homes are threatened by the fiery blaze.

Send us Your Spirit, and lift and heal those who have fallen, 

sustain those who work tirelessly to rescue or rebuild,

and fill us with the hope of Your new creation. 

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
