REACH PROGRAM

We recently engaged the REACH foundation to come and facilitate a session with our Year 6 students. The REACH foundation runs personal development programs for young people. The workshops aim togive young people the tools and skills to understand themselves and others better.

The session our Year 6s engaged in was called 'Peer Connections' and encouraged lateral thinking and created a safe space for students to express themselves. Peer Connections celebrates the differences among classmates and builds empathy, curiosity and understanding.

The session was highly engaging for our students and the feedback following the session was positive and supportive.

We look forward to continuing our connection with the REACH foundation in the future.
