RMIT – I Belong in Computer Science Program

Year 10 Information Technology students attended RMIT University on Tuesday October 17. They were introduced to current RMIT students and the possible pathways to studying at RMIT. The day started with a campus challenge, which involved a scavenger hunt around the La Trobe St campus. Students were given a Media Precinct Tour, with behind-the-scenes interaction with the ‘green screen’ room. They then designed and launched rockets in a ‘Space Science workshop’ and engaged with a variety of STEM taster activities. Students had a wonderful time exploring what university life would be like and the pathways to future learning.
