Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day with Prep

How lucky are we to have had our Grandparents come to school today so that we can share our learning with them? We had a wonderful morning with them.

We shared a song we had been learning in Performing Arts that reminded our Grandparents that they are the sunshine in our lives. As many of our Grandparents weren't able to make our Prep Dance Concert in Term 3, we performed our favourite dance, The Macarena. Yesterday, we baked shortbread biscuits for our Grandparents and they were so yummy.

We shared our learning from our Inquiry Unit about special places. Everyone loved seeing Seba's Lamborghini from the Melbourne Show! Our Grandparents then shared about their own special places.

We finished the morning with a story about what we want to do when we grow up and had a quick visit to the classroom.

Thank you Grandparents for coming along. We hope you had a lot of fun. Thanks to Alex for helping make all those teas and coffees.
