Green House Project

In the middle of Term 2 the Green team started constructing the green house. This included a lot of measuring, marking out, digging, and installing the footing posts. The boys  were able to use cordless drills to fix certain parts of the frame together and also got to use a number of different hand tools. Finally in week 7 of Term 3 the boys were able to install the shade cloth with the help of Mr Urquhart's senior Ag class. 

Assembly of electric power tools

In Term 3 the boys were able to put together electric mowers, whipper snippers and blowers. The boys were also able to do an induction for all of these tools. The boys are now equipped with the knowledge of the proper usage and maintenance of all of these power tools.
