Week 10, Term 3
A massive thankyou to Mr Smith for organising yet another successful Footy Colours Day! Students enjoyed a variety of activities including kicking, marking, handballing, goal kicking, tackling, mini games and an obstacle course.
It was great having students from SEDA come and run a variety of different activities with our students this past week!
Our new homework schedule for Term 4 is available below. Students will also be given a copy each in their classrooms to take home.
Mathematics: In Fluid Groups we will be completing four sessions focusing on multiplicative thinking. In Applied Maths, we will be exploring 'Statistics' and 'Probability'.
Writing & Reading: Students will be looking at Persuasive Writing, with a focus on local governments in Australia and the work they do in our communities. We will also be reading a variety of texts that explore students taking on leadership roles.
Topic: Students have done an amazing job at finishing off their dioramas! Next term we will take a look at our local government and some of the main features of Australia including states/territories, capital cities and famous landmarks.
