Term 3, Week 10

What we've been up to in Prep

Footy Colours Day

We had so much fun at our first Footy Colours Day! Thank you, Mr Smith for organising this great event. Here are some pictures of the Preps in action.

Ballarat Wildlife Park

Thank you so much to our parent volunteers who helped make our trip to the Ballarat Wildlife Park a great success. Everyone had a great day out and we got to see lots of the animals that we have been learning about at school.

SEDA

Over the last few weeks, the Preps have had the opportunity to participate in some rotations including football, soccer, basketball, cricket and netball. They had a ball! Thank you to the coaches at SEDA.

Reminders

Heart Words

Your child will have received a note stating which Heart Words that they need to practise reading. By now, it is expected that students should be able to read and write almost all of these words. The holidays are a good chance to practise these. You can help them find the words in magazines, books or on sign posts. They can practise writing the words in the sand or dirt outside or with water on the concrete.
