5/6 Camp to Melbourne

We had a an awesome time in Melbourne last week for the 5/6 CYC Camp. We visited the Shrine of Remembrance, ACMI, Parliament House, MSAC and the Queen Victoria Markets. We also transversed across Melbourne on foot using trams, trains and buses. The staff were incredibly proud of the way the students engaged in the activities and supported each other. I would like to sincerely thank the parent volunteers who attended the camp to support the students. Also, our amazing SGPS staff for their dedication to ensuring everyone had a great experience. A special shout-out to Mr Mac who lead the organisation for the Camp.

Busy End to Term 3

It has been a busier than normal finish to Term 3 with camps, excursions, and incursions aplenty. Thanks to all of the families for supporting these special experiences for the students. I hope you child reflects fondly on the special events they have been involved in this term.

Fresh Food Project

SGPS has signed up to be part of an initiative called the Fresh Food Project. Purchasing a food box for your family would generate a donation to our school of $2.50 to $4 for every box sold. In addition to this, any other profits through this initiative will be channelled back to the One Box Program. Our community have been recipients of The One Box for the past 8 years. Boxes ordered can be collected each Friday from the SGPS canteen.

If you are interested in purchasing a box of fresh fruit and veg through this initiative, please refer to the attached flyer.

 Netbooks over the Holidays

A reminder that all netbooks for students in Grade 3-6 will remain safely at school over the holiday break.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday break. See you in Term 4!
