Stanly 

In recognition of the wonderful prediction he wrote about the story ‘Ronald the Rhino.’ Stanly wrote down what he thought was going to happen next and then explained why. Great predicting, Stanly!

In recognition of your outstanding writing and drawing about ‘fish’. You used punctuation in your sentences and added describing words about the fish. Well done Anna!

In recognition of her ability to make a prediction about the story ‘It’s a marmalade jam’. Polly used her prior knowledge and clues from the text to think about what would happen next in the story and why.

In recognition of the effort Molly has given to improving her writing skills. 

Molly, your narratives have grown so much. They are well planned and engaging, and include so many fabulous sentences that blow our socks off!

In recognition of taking on feedback to improve his writing and working on using the same verb tense in his writing.

Annie 

In recognition of improvement in her comprehension skills. You’re working so hard on predicting, answering questions and clarifying what you have read! Keep up the hard work!

Aleyna 

In recognition of the fantastic effort she showed on her Sizzling Start in her narrative. Aleyna made excellent use of speech that gave her characters a specific voice. Wonderful work Aleyna!

In recognition of being an enthusiastic learner and always putting your best effort into your work. You’re a superstar, Morrison! 

Alexia 

In recognition of the Fractured Fairy Tale you wrote.  You used the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears to write a terrific story.  Well done.  

Bolen  

In recognition of Bolen’s terrific work during Book Club with the task of redesigning his book’s front cover.  The illustration is thoughtful, the font creatively executed and the presentation in general is beautifully done.  Terrific effort, Bolen!

Mikaela

In recognition of his enthusiasm during our treehouse construction. Husayn used his creativity and initiative, making prototypes at home and designing a working ‘elevator’ to enable access to his treehouse. Fantastic effort, Husayn!.
