Friday Footy Colours Day!

Footy Colours Day at SKiPPS kicks off with activities on the oval from 8am along with bacon and egg rolls for $5, juice and a coffee cart too. There will also be a vegan BBQ.

After our 9am assembly, there will be a handball competition with St Kilda AFLW stars Simone Nalder and Emmelie Fiedler followed by our Footy Colours Day parade. 

Prizes to be won so get practicing! 

A special thank you to Woolworths Metro, Burd Eggs, Little Sister Bakery and St Kilda Football Club who have generously provided the products for our morning. 

Don't forget to wear your favourite team's colours!

SKiPPS Orchestra Soiree – We need your support

Our annual SKIPPS orchestra fundraising soiree is fast approaching! Get your family and friends together and enjoy an evening of classical, jazz and pop tunes.

Established about 11 years ago, the SKIPPS Orchestra provides a beautiful opportunity for any student from the school, regardless of musical ability, to experience group music-making. All funds from ticket sales supplement the voluntary contributions of orchestra members' parents and carers to pay for the orchestra's highly qualified conductor.

Seeking SPRING Holiday Chicken Sitters

Our five beautiful chickens who live a life of luxury in our amazing chook house (located in the quiet area behind the Kitchen Dining Room) will need some care over the upcoming spring holidays and throught term 4. We are looking for some parent volunteers to help spread the workload of looking after them.

Last chance - please claim your lost items!

Here is a final reminder to visit the Lost & Found, accessible via the Quadrangle, to claim items belonging to your child.    The students have already been asked to check the area, however 2 racks of clothing still remain! 

All unclaimed items will be donated to charity on Friday afternoon of this week.

SKiPPA Sushi and Soup - a huge thank you

As we come to the end of term, we want to say a huge thank you to the tireless parents and carers of SKiPPA (our Parents' Association).

In amongst the amazing events such as our Father's Day breakfast, each week they have been at school serving soup each Tuesday and sushi lunch orders each Friday to hungry students.

Having such committed and creative parents is one of the things that makes our school so great and we want to acknowledge and show gratitude for all that they do!
