A message from the Principal

As Term 3 comes to an end, everyone at SKiPPS is truly ready for a break and the opportunity to recharge the batteries after such a full (and full on) term.

The holidays will also be a chance to prepare and look forward to Term 4, which will be just as busy and hopefully just as rewarding and full of learning.

A major highlight we are already looking forward to is Celebration of the Arts (COTA).

This will be taking place on Thursday 24th October from 5pm - 8pm.

For those new to the school, COTA is one of the best traditions of our school and an amazing showcase of our school value of Creativity and the amazing learning that takes place in our Performing and Visual Arts programs.

Each year the event has a theme and this year this is 'Odyssey' - with all of the artwork, performances and learning inspired by ancient mythology and the stories and sagas of the Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Celts and Vikings.

Rather than a traditional school performance, the evening becomes a whole-school social event with food stalls, an art show (this year in the Parks Victoria pavilion due to ongoing building works) and a chance to connect with other families. During the evening there will be musical, dance and drama performances featuring every student.

To help you plan your evening, please see below the performance times for each class and when we will require students to arrive to get ready to perform.

Students are asked to organise a basic costume for their performances and details of each class' requested costume can be found on the letters below;
