Trent Barrett Shield

The Trent Barrett Shield Gala Day is always action-packed and a lot of fun. This year was no exception. We entered a league tag team and joined with Wagga Public School in the tackle event. The kids socialised very well with the students from other schools. 

We were kept busy, either playing, grabbing a quick snack or cheering for our teams all day. The games were all unscored, but we managed to be competitive in all of our matches. There were lots of great runs, tackles or tags and some impressive tries. 

Well done to Leo and Kaitlyn who were awarded the player of the day from their respective teams. 

Thank you to all the parents willing to transport their own and others’ children, I know it is worth it when you see the enjoyment and eventual exhaustion on their faces.
