Class 17

Term 3 has been a great term for learning through exploring and experimenting! A major focus has been on science and conducting experiments or making observations about changes in things, such solids to liquids and liquids to gases. As part of this we also studied the weather and how wind and clouds are formed and how observing this can help us to predict the weather. We also looked at what makes somewhere a good place to live and what we like about it. We started by looking at our own neighborhoods and then progressed to investigating a series of video tours of the major cities in each State. This all culminated in our very successful excursion to Seawinds Park to investigate the view of Port Philip Bay and see how the wind and clouds affect the weather all around us. And of course we enjoyed our trip to Dromana for Fish and Chips to finish off the term by practicing our ability to place our own orders and buy our own lunch! Yum! 😊
