Dear all, 

Spring is finally here so hopefully is the nicer weather is too.

All the children’s art work is just so amazing and creative. Well done to Mrs Perri for all her hard work. I was so happy to hear the Choir perform last night, it’s just so beautiful hearing the children sing. They have really come a long way and am  super proud of them all, as I’m sure all the other parents were too. 

I can't wait to see what they all have installed for us in the Talent show today.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Father’s/Special Friend's Day breakfast to help make this day memorable for all our dad’s and special persons. Thanks to the Year 1’s and Year 2’s for hosting this event especially Jeremy, Holly, Lizzie, Bec, Julie, Danni, Kala, Mel, Kala, Jacqui and to anyone that helped bake some yummy food. 

As we are getting ready for summer our next second Uniform Shop will be on open on Tuesday 17th September 2024 from 3pm until 3:45pm. Thanks to Jacqui, Chris and Joyce for all your help. All the children will be in full Summer uniform in Term 4, . We will have another opening on Friday 11th October (first week of Term 4) so you will have plenty of time to check if you need anything. 

Tomorrow we will finishing of Art Week “FUN FRIDAY” with a free sausage sizzle to all and icy poles for the children. So hang around after school. It’s also your last chance to see all the wonderful art work the children have been working on and most of all the ART WORK by each year level that will be up for auction at our Major Fundraiser. 

We will also be promoting our Met Gala at the same time. So hang around around after school for fun time. 

St Mary’s MET GALA BALL, Saturday 26th October 2024, 7:30pm

So get ready for one of the most glamorous and creative nights St Kilda East has had the pleasure to host…the inaugural St Mary’s MET GALA BALL, Saturday 26th October 2024, 7:30pm at St Mary’s Parish Hall. 

Couture, artistic and avante garde- we want it all! Expect a night filled with drama, surprises, dancing as well as an Art Auction of our students work… Also other items will be up for auction on the night.  We have loads of prizes, raffles and giveaways all night. Some amazing prizes that will be up for auction and as part of raffle and door prize i.e. - $1000 worth of luxury skincare hamper from Liberty Belle, tickets to the premier of latest musical Tina Turner, Lucas Group gift vouchers, Pilates membership at Peaches, ayurvedic massage voucher, Apple Watch, Jewellery by Sebo jewellery and lots more.

This fundraiser will support the schools efforts for improvements to the Basketball Court and completion of the Zen Zone.

Ticket are $45 per person includes entry, free drink on arrival and canapés. There will  be loads of food all night that’s included.  Drinks at happy hour prices. DRESS TO IMPRESS
