High Potential Gifted Education

On Sunday 31st August, seven of our students proudly represented Edgeworth Public School at the Tournament of Minds which took place at Newcastle Grammar School. Our students competed against more than 20 schools from across the Hunter region. They displayed passion, teamwork, and talent while embracing this exciting opportunity to showcase their skills. We are proud to share the judges awarded EPS the Spirit of TOM Award!

Tournament of Minds is a problem-solving program for teams of students from both primary and secondary schools. Its aim is to enhance the potential of young people by developing creativity, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a challenging and competitive environment. Our students demonstrated all of these skills admirably. 

We sincerely thank our students’ families for their support and commitment, especially with the early Sunday morning start! We are extremely proud of our Tournament of Minds team and congratulate them on their incredible effort and achievement in this year's competition.
