From the Principal

Annual Improvement Plan Development

At our recent Principal conference, Armidale Catholic Schools shared their improvement strategy for  'Literate and Numerate Students for a Hope-Filled Future, ' up to and including 2030.  Please view the link:  Our Hope-Filled Future - Video

Likewise, our school also prepares our annual improvement plan (AIP) for 2026 with the vision for the growth and development of our school ie. our students, our staff, our Catholic identity and our families.

Our Staff have planned their aspirational goals for the sub categories of our plan which I would like to share with you all today.

Catholic Identity: All students, staff and families live our Christ- centred values, remaining true to our motto "With Love and a Gentle Spirit" ~ (1 Corinthians 4:21)

Quality Learning and Teaching: All students have the skills and strategies to be excited life-long successful learners.

Strong Teams to Enhance Teaching and Learning: Our staff have a high regard for the collective capacity of all members to increase faith, learning and wellbeing of each other and our students.

With our end success in mind, we will now evaluate our 2025 AIP with evidence of success or the need for continued focus, and will commence the process of writing our 2026 AIP.  Our final AIP for 2026 is shared with our P&F, our Advisory Council and is displayed in the front foyer.

St Joseph's School strives to achieve wonderful outcomes for the children in our school, in positive partnership with our families.
