Courageous Conversation with Chief Inspector Corey Allen

You’re warmly invited to join us for an inspiring evening of honest dialogue and shared reflection with local resident and TEDx speaker, Chief Inspector Corey Allen.
In this Courageous Conversation, Empathy on the Frontlines, Corey will draw on his lived experience in frontline policing to explore what happens when we choose empathy over judgment—even in the most challenging moments.
Empathy isn’t just a feeling—it’s a skill. One that can de-escalate conflict, build trust, and reshape the way we connect in our homes, workplaces, schools and communities.
Whether you're navigating personal or professional frontlines, this evening invites you to pause, reflect, and consider how empathy might be one of the most courageous tools we carry.
What to Expect:
✔️ An interview + audience Q&A with Corey Allen
✔️ Open Space activity to explore empathy in our community
✔️ Soup supper (RSVP essential)
✔️ A chance to connect with others who care deeply about creating safer, more compassionate communities
This is a free community event, open to all ages
We welcome donations towards supper and our Courageous Conversation program.
