BULLY ZERO COMING TO GLEN INNES HIGH
Bully Zero will be presenting workshops for Glen Innes High School Students on the 10th September. Online permission emails have already been sent out. The programs they will be presenting are:
Understanding Bullying – Year 7
We help young people understand what bullying is, the different types, and how it affects others. They also learn practical ways to recognise and handle bullying while discovering how bystanders can play a key role in making positive change
SafetyNet – Years 8 and 9
We equip young people the tools to understand cyberbullying and stay safe online. They’ll learn what cyberbullying looks like, how to identify it, and get practical tips for protecting themselves in the digital world
Workforce Ready – Years 10, 11, and 12.
This session helps young people make a smooth transition into the workplace. It focuses on raising awareness and building confidence in recognising and addressing workplace bullying, while also guiding them on where to seek support when needed. This is ideal for anyone entering the professional world for the first time.
There will also be a PARENT/STAFF/COMMUNITY session on the evening of 9th September. More information will be sent out about this session soon.
It Takes a Village
This session is tailored for parents, teachers, and carers, offering a safe space to explore the complexities of bullying and how to address it effectively. Designed for adults, we focus on understanding bullying behaviours, recognising the signs both at home and in school, and providing practical strategies to protect and support children affected by bullying.
