English Year 10

Year 10 Shakespeare

We read our Shakespeare play Titus Andronicus in class aloud with allocated character parts over several lessons. There were students who demonstrated impressive thespian skills in voice clarity, pacing, volume and expression that were truly astounding.

In this assessment task there are several options and students usually choose what they are best at. From an array of costume art and metal work, musical playlists, alternative play endings, diary entries and newspaper front pages to a variety of games, these students met the challenge substantially.

Again, I want to thank parents, carers and families, teachers and other students who supported our Year 10 students in making it happen for them. They were truly proud of their efforts and rightly so!

Well done Year 10!
