Pat Cronin Presentation

This week our Year 10 and 11 students attended a powerful presentation from the Pat Cronin Foundation and Year 12 students will have the opportunity to watch the live streaming of the presentation in advisory sessions over the next week, ensuring all senior students benefit from this important message.

This event was organised by Jess McGurk and Tash Roberts. We sincerely thank them for their efforts in bringing this important program to our school.

The presentation shared the story of Pat Cronin, whose life was tragically cut short by a single act of violence. Students were challenged to reflect on the consequences of split-second decisions, the impact of violence on families and communities, and the importance of making safe and respectful choices.

For our senior school and VCE students, this session is not only timely but deeply relevant.

As young adults preparing to step into greater independence, they were reminded to:

  • Consider the long-term consequences of their choices.

  • Take responsibility for their actions in social situations.

  • Look out for themselves and their peers by choosing respect and safety first.

Moving forward, this presentation encourages students to think about the values they want to uphold as they navigate the final years of school and beyond.
