Principal's Message

Welcome to Term 4! Yay, this is the last time your child will be in this year level - ever!

I hope the holidays treated your family well and everyone is healthy and happy after the break. Remember, school returns for all students on Tuesday, October 7 (with your child walking through the doors at 8:45am for a 9:00am sharp start). Hey, don't forget that daylight saving has begun and those sleepy heads need to get out of bed an hour earlier.

My beloved AFL team (The Cats) lost the Grand Final and I attended so it was pretty sad. But, life goes on, and I have the wonderful students and staff to look forward to in Term 4 to cheer me up.

Term 4 runs for 11 weeks and the last official day for students is Thursday, December 18 with the last assembly scheduled for Wednesday, December 17. Our goal is to ensure your child is ready for 2026 from a social, emotional and academic point of view. We have 11 precious weeks to keep developing your child so they are ready and raring to go next year.

Term 4 is invariably busy so I do encourage you to look at the Class Updates and Reminders Page to see the key dates for each Year level and the last page of Key Dates to plan ahead for the term in your own family diary. These dates are open to some change, but can be relied upon as fairly accurate at the time of writing.

My goal will be to finish off professionally and strongly whilst preparing for 2026 from a staffing, resourcing and budgetting perspective. It is busy, but good.

As with everything, there will be challenges, but we will face them together.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."

Let's go far together.

Enjoy the start of the term beautiful people.
