The Premier's Reading Challenge is a literacy engagement program that was introduced by the Premier in 2004 to:
- Encourage students to read more books and enjoy readingĀ
- Build self-esteem and pride, school unity and a sense of achievement
- Improve literacy levels
The Challenge requires students to read a total of 12 books (8 Premier's Reading Challenge books, 4 own choice books) between early FebruaryĀ and 6thĀ September 2024.
