AUTISM INCLUSION TEACHER

T4 2024

Our second Talking Neurodivergence free community session was an absolute success. It was a full house with a gorgeous mixed bag of individuals attending, parents, carers, grandparents, allied health professionals, teachers, partners, and a high number of neurodivergent individuals too. It truly warms my heart to see these sessions gain momentum …

This session was on Neurodivergence and Wellbeing which encapsulated everyone’s wellbeing. Madhavi had us all learning through laughter and amazing insight into the diversity of brains. If you haven’t seen her, I can’t recommend her highly enough (I’ve popped some links below to her work).

I don’t say this lightly, but I’ve never attended a training/ workshop/ session where I’ve seen ALL of the people attending feel so empowered, so heard, so understood and so enlightened. It was an extremely special night.

A BIG thank you goes out not just to those amazing individual who attended, but our pop-up stall holders.

We are extremely fortunate to have AnglicareSA, Communities for Children’s ongoing support; with this support and that of the Onkaparinga Council, we are able to continue these sessions in 2025.
