Allied Health Update
We are excited to welcome Jess, our new speech pathologist, to the team at Hamlyn Views School! With a passion for helping students find their voice, Jess will be a perfect fit for our school. She is dedicated to supporting students in developing their communication skills, whether through speech, language, or social interaction. Jess will work closely with students, teachers, and families to create programs that foster growth and confidence. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our school community!
We are thrilled to share that our occupational therapists have recently completed the "Mobility and Accessibility for Children in Australia" training! This specialized program equips our team with the latest knowledge and strategies to enhance the mobility and accessibility of children within our school environment. By focusing on practical approaches to assistive technology, environmental modifications, and individualized support plans, our occupational therapists are better prepared to create a more inclusive and accessible experience for all students. We’re excited to apply these new skills to ensure every child can fully participate in school activities with confidence and ease.
As the year draws to a close, the Allied Health team at Hamlyn Views School would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress and achievements we've seen in our students. It's been a year filled with growth, teamwork, and dedication, as we’ve worked together to support the unique needs of each child. Whether through speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or music therapy, our team has been committed to helping students build essential skills and reach their full potential.
We are grateful for the collaboration with teachers, parents, and our wider school community in making this year a success. As we look ahead, we are excited to continue providing tailored support to our students in the new year, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership—we look forward to another wonderful year ahead!
