Visual Arts

This term in Visual Arts, students have been introduced to the comic book format, crafting illustrations using their own drawing skills or by cutting and pasting characters or animals of their choice. This activity has been a creative and fun way of incorporating literacy skills into an Arts based experience.

Early this term, we did artwork in honour of the season of Spring! Students painted or drew a floral background and created a three dimensional watering can by folding a square piece of coloured paper. 

For the upcoming holidays, we painted and decorated wooden wreaths, using paint, Posca pens, stickers, and glitter. We have also done other Christmas crafts such as making snowflakes, and Christmas themes colour by numbers.
