Major Fundraiser Update

After a huge campaign CSPS celebrated the amazing fundraising achievements of students and families with a Colour Run Splash and Dash on Friday 8th November. It was wonderful to see so many students participating in the event, and plenty of smiles as they were sprayed by water guns and covered in colour powder. Our new longer course was a hit, moving outside the school gates onto Marara Reserve. Thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to ensure that the event ran smoothly, and to allow the children to really enjoy the afternoon.

We were able to announce the winners of the in-school competitions at the conclusion of the run. The senior and junior classes who raised the most money were 1A and 3C. Both classes will be rewarded for their great efforts with a pizza party. Well done to these students for their excellent group efforts.

Hotly contested throughout the fundraising period, the Principal for a Day competition ended up with not one, but three winners! CSPS will be overseen by the following students as principals in the near future: Zac B (1A), Sonny S (1C) and Joss S (5A). Congratulations to these students for their outstanding fundraising contributions. We can't wait to see you all on the gates welcoming everyone to school!

Exceeding his original promise, our wonderful principal Mr Cooper was slimed by all three winners of the Principal for a Day competition with three buckets of slime!

The day would not have been complete without the icy poles at the end of the run. An enormous thank you to Tym from Woolworths Metro on Hawthorn Road for supplying the school with all the delicious treats.

The fundraising total is being finalised as prizes are being ordered and the school will communicate the total once all the paperwork has been completed. Prizes will be delivered to the school and may take several weeks.
