The word Emmanuel beautifully describes the gift of Christmas, it means ‘God is with us’. This is the main message of Christmas. Christmas presents a challenge to all of us. We are called to become messengers of Emmanuel, to help bring Christ’s love to the world. Let us be Emmanuel’s messengers, let us be his hands, feet and voice.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
A heartfelt thanks to all parents, students and staff who helped to contribute to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal. A special thank you to the parents and Form Teachers who did a great job in getting the boys motivated to donate so generously to the appeal.
On Thursday, 21 November 2024 the Vinnies Team from Mazenod and St Brigid’s Colleges made up almost 100 hampers, ready for distribution to those in need in the coming days. Besides our own Lesmurdie Vinnies Conference, our hampers will be delivered to families supported by the Ellenbrook and Midland Vinnies Conferences as well. The de Mazenod Vinnies Conference also donated $6000 to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal from this year’s fundraising activities.
Mr Pabst and I, and the Vinnies boys, would like to thank everyone once again for your fantastic support. Without the wonderful generosity of the Mazenod community, none of this could have been possible.
Wishing all our Mazenod families a happy and holy Christmas!
