Parents' and Friends'

Yamba Open Garden

What an incredible weekend at the Yamba Open Garden.  Thank you Helen Diprose for inviting the P&F to be a part of your first event to the public with Open Gardens Victoria.

Thank you to Jane Young who led the catering committee and did an incredible job to cater for over 1000 visitors. Across the two days, our amazing volunteers sold 500 salad rolls and 700 slices and biscuits. Thank you also to the people that did multiple shifts, helped with parking and baked before the weekend.

We can't name everyone, but we would like to give a special mention to the grandparents, Nan and Philip, and the wonderful student helpers, Tom, Sophie, Hannah, Mhairi Marianna, Poppy, Isabelle, Ruby, Sammie, Alex and Pip.

It was tough weather conditions with heat, rain and wind, but the P&F expects to have raised about $8,500 that will be investing into programs that benefit the students.

Congratulations to Deirdre Quinsey on winning the raffle.
