Netball

Last Saturday was another great round for our College Netball teams!

The two senior teams versed each other at school during the week, with the College T-Birds coming out on top.

7/8 College Mavericks fought hard but lost to Monivae Red.

College 5/6 Sapphires went down 23-17 in quite a tight match.

3 /4 College Rubies lost to Coleraine by 6 points but are on the improve.

Thank you to all the umpires, coaches and parents for another outstanding Saturday.

Rowing

This weekend, rowers will take to home waters in what will be an exciting fun event with some local competition against Hamilton, Horsham, Warrnambool and Nestles Rowing Club. Racing kicks off from 9am, spectator and College supporters are most welcome and if you are interested in Rowing next season it's a great opportunity to see the sport in action.

Rower of the week

In an exciting new chapter for rower of the week we have picked up a new sponsor Cloven Hills. So, it is my pleasure to announce this week's recipient of The Cloven Hills Rower of The Week is Hannah Young.  Hannah came to Dimboola regatta on Saturday, and even though she was not rowing she volunteered to cox the intermediate boys and Alans Master crew from Hamilton Rowing Club. Throughout the week Hannah has rowed in a quad with two of our senior girls, where Hannah has showed perseverance and persistence. She has improved over the course of the week and we look forward to seeing her row on Saturday. Hannah always comes to rowing training with a smile and is a very deserving recipient of Rower of the Week.
