Assistant Principal's Report
Mitch Harris
I have spent the last few days in Melbourne, participating in Professional Development, with the rest of my time on the Year 11 Melbourne Experience.
It has been a privilege to witness our mature Year 11's conduct themselves in academic facilities as well as a metro environment. I have been humbled by their manners, preparation and connection with each other. I am confident this cohort of students will be successful in their pursuits in 2025. I would also like to acknowledge the effort that Shantelle Stimson went to with organising this camp, and Jo Macklan for attending the camp. The experience is also made possible by the other administration staff at school who support students, so they are offered opportunities like these. Well done to all involved.
This concludes the school year for our Year 11 cohort, and we wish them a safe and enjoyable break. We also farewell a few students who are pursuing other pathways. We wish them all the very best with their new jobs, and study modes.
As we approach the final weeks of the school year, it is important that students maintain high expectations around the uniform. Below I have listed some important things to ensure before students leave the house:
School uniform – all items need to be part of the school uniform.
School shoes – students require black school shoes. Students participating in PE require appropriate sports footwear to ensure safety.
Appropriately worn uniform items – we need students to mindful of the length of their clothing to ensure the uniform is worn how it is intended to be.
