汉语消息…

Last week, to help Grade 5/6 students settle down after returning from camp and calmly finish the remaining of Term 4,  we held a Grade 5 and 6 Connect 5 Championship across all four classes.

In Chinese, it is called 五子棋 (wǔzǐqí), in Korean, 오목 (Omok), and in Japanese, 五目並べ (Gomoku). In English, it is well known as Connect 5. Our DPS seniors love playing this game! This is a game widely known in some Asian countries such as China, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.

Due to time constraints, we could not determine the final winner last week. However, after class finals, we will select the top four students who will compete in the final tournament during this week's lunch break to determine the 1st to 4th place winners. The results will be shared in the next edition of Snippets.
