At JSA, the safety and well-being of our community is very important.

To ensure everyone is prepared for emergencies, we regularly practice evacuation drills with both staff and students.

These drills are essential for:

  • Ensuring everyone knows their role in an emergency.
  • Identifying and addressing gaps in our procedures.
  • Building a culture of safety and calm responses.
  • Meeting safety standards and legal requirements.

By practicing together, we can respond effectively and confidently in real situations, keeping our school a safe place for all.

Please see last week's email that includes JSA's social story.

E-safety is especially important for children with disabilities because they can face unique challenges and vulnerabilities in the online environment.

Here’s why:

  • Increased Risk of Exploitation
  • Barriers to Understanding Risks
  • Digital Inclusion
  • Tailored Education
  • Supporting Caregivers and Educators
  • Reducing Barriers to Reporting

Please take a look at the resources -follow the online link- which support our students.
