Tee-ball

Our Prep-6 students have been playing modified Tee-ball games in our physical education classes. They have been learning how to apply throwing, catching and batting skills in a game environment. It has been pleasing to see students having fun in a team environment and working together to achieve positive outcomes for themselves. 

As our Tee ball unit has come to an end. Students have improved on a range of skills when playing the game.

• Improved throwing more accurately to their target.
• Stepping on bases to ensure the are safe.
• Catching
• Decision making when fielding the ball.
• Communicating with their team mates for better outcomes in a game situation.
• Understanding the game as a whole and the importance of their role in a team.
