From the Classroom - D4 (Ms Mayes)
Each week in Foundation we have a new story book focus. With each book, we look at new vocabulary in the story, identify and sequence the main events and make connections between themes in the story and what we know about ourselves, the world and other stories we have read.
In D4, we recently read Pamela Allen's story ‘The Potato People’. The new words we learnt about are exclaimed, drooped and gradually. We also got to make our very own Potato People!
