LOST PROPERTY

Hi Everyone, 

We are trialling a new system to support the overwhelming amount of lost property brought in each week. Some of these items continue to be without names.

The items are collected and placed in a Lost Property bin in the Junior Hall. 

On Thursday one of our PA members, Merrin, sorts all items and puts them in correct black plastic tubs that are CLEARLY NAMED WITH GRADE LEVELS. These tubs are in the Junior Hall.

Each Thursday or Friday, the classroom teachers are emailed and they send children to collect the items from the Junior Hall and these items are returned to their respective owners.

Parents are welcome to come to Junior Hall before and after school and check the black tubs. 

Those items that are not named, this includes lunch containers etc are sent to our second hand uniform room. 

PLEASE be vigilant and name everything that comes to school - sports equipment as well. We have a much better chance of returning items that are clearly named.
