Help Us Support Your Child's Mental Health and Wellbeing
At St. Laurence’s Primary School, we believe that supporting our students' mental health and wellbeing is just as important as their academic success.
Throughout the school, we’re running a range of wellbeing initiatives—from classroom mindfulness to whole-school programs like 'Story Dogs' —designed to help children feel safe, supported, and connected.
We’d also love to hear from you. Please take a few moments to complete the attached Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey. Your feedback will help us better understand how we can support both you and your child.

We’re also excited to announce that starting in Term 3, we’ll be introducing the Seasons for Growth Program, a small-group initiative for children who have experienced change, loss, or separation. To learn more, please read the attached flyer. If you’re interested in this program for your child, contact Emily Sherriff at: esherriff@stlleongatha.catholic.edu.au
Don’t forget to explore our Hearts and Minds at St. Laurence’s wellbeing page in the school newsletter for more information about these programs, practical tips, updates, and helpful resources.
Thank you for being an important part of our wellbeing journey.
