As we wrap up the final newsletter for the term, it’s been a busy and exciting start to 2026, with many fantastic sporting highlights. 

On Tuesday, two Stage 3 netball teams represented our school with pride and enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see students enjoying the opportunity to play together and demonstrate great teamwork.

Earlier in the week, we had Indianna M (Year 5) and Katya C and Neve F (Year 6) trial for touch football. This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their ongoing skill, dedication and commitment to sport.

A special mention goes to Ashton M (Year 5), who travelled to Wagga Wagga to trial for the AFL Mackillop team. He represented himself and the school exceptionally well, showcasing impressive skill, confidence and a positive attitude. Most importantly, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which was clear from his enthusiastic reflections upon returning to school.

There are plenty of exciting sporting opportunities coming up early in Term 2, so stay tuned for more information.
