Easter Holiday Reading Challenge
The school holidays are here—a perfect time for children to relax, spend time with friends, play outdoors, and enjoy some free time. It’s also an opportunity to take a well-deserved break from schoolwork while embracing the joy of learning in a fun and engaging way.
One of the most valuable skills we can nurture is reading, and we encourage students to keep reading during the holidays.
To make it more exciting, we’ve organised a Holiday Reading Challenge for Grades K-2 and 3-6. Students who complete the challenge will have the chance to win a prize! Each child will being home a recording sheet to participate in the Challenge. Links to these sheets can also be found below.

Remember, reading can include—parents and carers reading to children, children can listen to audiobooks, explore e-books, or dive into graphic novels and magazines, children reading library books, books from school or home. Reading for just 10 minutes a day can reignite a love for stories while strengthening their abilities. Learning to read is a shared responsibility between school and home.

If students are completing the Premiers Reading Challenge this is a great way to read and log some more books. Prizes will for the reading challenge will be drawn during our Week 2, Term 2 assembly, good luck!
