UNSW Study: Supporting our Twice-Exceptional (2e) Families
Our school has been invited by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to participate in a research project exploring the experiences of parents raising twice-exceptional children, students who demonstrate both high giftedness and learning differences.
Dr. Marie McGregor and Dr. Geraldine Townend are investigating how "hope" plays a role in family life, future planning and school advocacy. By sharing your story, you can help the School of Education develop more effective frameworks for supporting 2e students in the classroom.
Please note participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous.

If you have any questions about the research, you can email the G.A.T.E.WAYS team or are welcome to contact Dr Marie McGregor directly at marie.mcgregor@unsw.edu.au.
We appreciate the thoughtful role you play in supporting gifted and twice-exceptional students and thank you for helping ensure families are aware of this opportunity.
For more information, feel free to reach out to the researchers directly at marie.mcgregor@unsw.edu.au.
