MEET THE ARTIST MORNING TEA

This morning, families gathered for a Meet the Artist Morning Tea to learn more about our upcoming parent art program. Parents and carers enjoyed meeting visiting artist Ritika Skand Vohra and hearing about the creative workshop series beginning in early May.

The program will bring parents from migrant and refugee backgrounds together through textiles, hand‑stitching and storytelling.

No art experience is required—just a willingness to connect and create.

ANZAC BISCUITS

Grade 5 students kindly volunteered their lunchtime to make ANZAC biscuits to share at Breakfast Club on Friday.

Throughout the process, students practised reading and following a recipe, while also showing great mathematical thinking as they calculated the correct amounts, even when they did not have the exact measuring tools available.

The finished biscuits were a hit, receiving a 10/10 from some very lucky staff taste-testers!
