YEAR 3

FROM THE TEAM

This week in Grade 3, students focused on revising important literacy and numeracy skills and participated in NAPLAN testing. In literacy, students reviewed previous morphology focuses and spelling patterns and were introduced to a new text about dragons and created a story map.

In numeracy, they revised key concepts such as addition, subtraction, and problem-solving strategies when answering worded questions. Students worked hard to apply these skills during their NAPLAN assessment, showing focus, perseverance, and a positive attitude. Throughout the week, we also took time to support one another, practise test strategies, and celebrate everyone’s effort and resilience.
