23 January 2025

Dear parents and carers,
Happy New Year! I hope the holiday period brought you time to rest, reconnect, and enjoy moments with family, and that your children are returning with renewed energy as we approach the beginning of the school year.
Our entire Chevalier team is excited to welcome students back to campus. There is something very special about the first days of a new school year - the anticipation, the fresh possibilities, and the sense of community coming alive again. We are looking forward to greeting our new Year 7 students, full of both enthusiasm and understandable nerves, as well as a number of older students joining us from other schools. And of course, it will be wonderful to see familiar faces reunited after the summer break.
I encourage you to review carefully the important practical information included below. Your support in helping your children with arrangements for the commencement of the school year will set them up for a smooth and confident start.
I hope you enjoy the upcoming Australia Day long weekend, and I look forward to seeing our students return next week with happy faces and a sense of readiness for the year ahead.
Warm regards,
Greg Miller
Principal
