Somatic & Creative Arts Therapy
Hello, I'm jumping in here to let you know that I'll be offering Somatic & Creative Arts Therapy work at Newlands Primary next year. I'll likely be practicing Mondays and some Wednesdays. This is in addition to the wonderful work of Creative Arts Therapist Bianca Vecchio on Thursdays and alternate Fridays. Sunflower Kids Therapy
Sunflower Kids Therapy will be running two fun and supportive School Holiday Therapy Groups this January! These groups are designed to help children build important communication, social, and learning skills in a playful, confidence-building environment.
LEGO Social Skills Group (Ages 5–8)
Perfect for young children who love building and creating!This group supports:
- Teamwork and cooperative play
- Social communication skills
- Problem-solving and flexible thinking
- Turn-taking and sharing
Children work together on LEGO challenges while being guided by our experienced therapists
School Readiness Group (Prep/Foundation Readiness)
Ideal for children starting school in 2026 who would benefit from extra practice with:
- Listening and following instructions
- Fine-motor and pre-writing skills
- Early literacy and language skills
- Social skills for classroom and playground
- Confidence with transitions and routines
A supportive, play-based group to help little learners feel prepared and excited for the year ahead.
Funding & Bookings
- NDIS funding can be used for both groups.
- Sessions are run by registered Speech Pathologists
- Only 4 places per group available to ensure small group sizes- see flyer attached for initial dates and times. Further groups will be added depending on interest.
