Library Wrap-Up

The library has had its first full year in its new location and I would say it has been a success! I have really loved this little spot and all the faces who are so keen to visit.

Big thanks to my library leaders, Ella and June, for their enthusiasm, kindness and dedication. I wish them so much success next year and beyond. Be sure to have a browse through the ‘reading guide’ that they compiled from the students’ top reads.

Thanks also to the irrepressible Abner who volunteered his Tuesday afternoons to host a Spanish storytime (and thanks to superstar student Ada who once took the reins when he was away).

Thanks to families for undertaking book search-parties: books were found under driver-side front seats,  at relatives’ houses, often at Coburg and Preston libraries. Thanks to parents for helping with book covering, donations and chats.
