Fantastic Start to the Term

We’ve had a fantastic start to the term, and it’s been wonderful to see how excited the children have been to come back to school. They have settled quickly and positively into their routines, showing great enthusiasm and focus in the classroom. This early part of the term has been all about revisiting expectations and learning how we learn, helping to build strong foundations before we dive deeper into new learning. The positive energy around school has been a joy to see.

We have also enjoyed getting to know Brady, who has made a great start already. He has been building strong and positive relationships with the children, sharing plenty of laughs while encouraging them to give new things a go. Brady has embraced learning alongside the students and has quickly become a valued part of our classroom community.

School Leaders

A big congratulations to our school leaders for this term. For Term 1, we are proud to announce our School Leaders, Emma and Fezz! Across the school,  we are sharing this responsibility in different spaces.  Our Term 1 leaders:

  • 💛 Wellbeing Leader – Hunter
  • 💻 Technology Assistant – Julian
  • 🧊 3D Printer Expert – Atticus
  • 🎨 Art Leader – Ariella
  • 🏅 Sport Leader – Angus

We look forward to seeing all of our leaders grow in confidence and make a positive contribution to our school community.

Grade 6 tops

I know many of our Grade 6's are eagerly awaiting their shirts! Students have begun designing their own, once these 'mock shirts' are finished, students will vote for their favourite design. The winning design will be worn by all our Grade 6's. So, once we have that organised and chosen- I'll post it here for everyone to see!

Courage to Care

We’re excited to be hosting a special cluster event on the 17th of  February, featuring the Courage to Care program, Australia’s Upstander education initiative.Courage to Care delivers engaging sessions that help students understand the impacts of discrimination, racism and bullying, and empowers them to become Upstanders – people who stand up for what is right and support others in their community. This program is designed for students in Years 4–6.  It’s our first time hosting a cluster event, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our neighbouring schools to come together, learn, and grow in empathy and respect.
