NAIDOC Week

Celebrating NAIDOC Week!
During Week 1, our school proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week, with students taking part in a variety of engaging learning experiences that recognised and celebrated the histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Throughout the week, students participated in hands-on activities, meaningful classroom discussions and a whole-school collaborative art project. Each student decorated a hand, which came together to create our beautiful butterfly display, now proudly showcased in our school. The display symbolises unity, respect and the strength of our school community.
These activities provided students with valuable opportunities to deepen their understanding of Australia's First Nations peoples, reflect on the importance of NAIDOC Week, and celebrate the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
We are proud of the enthusiasm and respect our students showed throughout the week and thank everyone who contributed to making our NAIDOC Week celebrations such a success.
