Dear School Community,

It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back to school after the holiday break. Despite the very cold winter weather, students and staff have settled quickly into routines, and the term has commenced smoothly across both campuses.

We are also entering an exciting phase of improvement works at our school, with building projects at both campuses soon to be released to tender.

At St Patrick’s Campus, works will include the redevelopment of the yellow classroom, with a new bathroom space and an extension of the school yard to enhance outdoor learning and play opportunities.

At Our Lady of La Vang Campus, the back courtyards will be redesigned to create more welcoming and engaging outdoor spaces. Improvements will also include new access to the gymnasium from the Junior Yard and the installation of a new exit door in the kitchenette area to improve accessibility and functionality.

During the holidays, further improvements were completed at St Patrick’s Campus, including the installation of a new reception desk in the front office. Additional finishing works, including new cupboard doors and painting, will be completed in the coming weeks.

These projects reflect our ongoing commitment to providing contemporary, accessible and welcoming learning environments. We look forward to sharing further updates as the works progress throughout the term.

As we move into the middle of Term 3, I look forward to connecting with many of our families during the Personalised Plan for Learning (PPL) meetings in Week 5. These meetings are an important opportunity to celebrate each student’s progress, discuss their learning goals and priorities, and strengthen the partnership between home and school. We greatly value the insights and contributions that families bring to these conversations, as working together ensures we can continue to provide the best possible support for every student.
