Celebrating 100 Days of Kindy

Next Monday, 27 July, our kindergarten students will have been at school for 100 days of learning. To celebrate this achievement, our students and Kindergarten teachers will dress up for the celebration as 100-year-olds and engage in fun activities throughout the day. The dress-up theme links to the idea of celebrating what it might be like to be 100 years old! 

To commemorate this achievement, students will look back on how much they have changed since the beginning of Kindergarten.

Late arrivals and early departures - parent/carer requirements

If your child requires a late note, a parent or guardian must accompany the child to the student counter and sign them in. A parent or guardian must also sign out their child when leaving early, this aligns with Department of Education requirements.

Webinars and Support Opportunities

The NSW Department of Education is pleased to offer a series of webinars and resources for families. Upcoming sessions include "Anxiety and Big School," which provides effective strategies for managing anxiety, and "Screens and Brains," which explores the impact of technology on children. Additionally, information about healthy habits for children is available via the Go4Fun website. These opportunities are open to all families. Please refer to the individual flyers below for session dates, registration details, and further information.

Chatties Wood Front & Back Cover Competition

We invite all students to participate in the Chatties Wood Front and Back Cover Competition.

This year’s theme is "All In" highlighting values such as commitment, inclusion, dedication, and the spirit of giving your best.

We encourage students to submit creative, colourful entries that stand out.

Entries close on Friday, 11 September 2026 (Term 3, Week 8). Please hand your entry in to the Office.
